What is the Constitution of a Starving Nation?

What is the Constitution of a Starving Nation?

What is the Constitution of a Starving Nation?

Since ancient times, history books have been filled with stories of starving and exploiting people by failing governments. But have you ever wondered? How can a starving state be established? What is life like in a nation reliant on the hunger and poverty of its people? What are the laws and policies of such a state, or even its constitution?

Let’s stretch our imagination a bit and envision a country built on hunger and poverty, where this is a way of life and a fundamental law between the people and their rulers...!

Strange and innovative methods are used by the government of this state to halt growth rates and starve its people. Let’s call these methods “the constitution of the starving nation.” The first article in this constitution will be as follows:

First / The poor need “mandatory dieting” In our modern era, competing governments boast of implementing anti-poverty programs. And what is the best anti-poverty program but to force the poor to follow a “mandatory diet”? Instead of providing the necessary support for the poor to earn a living, limited foods are offered. Who needs meat, fruits, and vegetables when they can survive on just bread and water?

Second / “Global Hunger Award” for the most starving government: Among the encouraging methods to starve the people, an annual award is given to the most starving government in the country. This award is considered an honor for the government that succeeds in spreading hunger and poverty, making the people suffer incredibly. This award serves as an incentive for governments to exert their utmost effort in spreading poverty, as poverty is one of the country’s major achievements!

Third / Currency:  Why limit ourselves to traditional methods of starving people like raising taxes and cutting social spending? Let’s create something new and ironic! Let’s make a unique currency for this country, and name it anything. Instead of printing world-recognized banknotes, papers are printed with strange shapes that change according to the ruling authority. The people can use this currency to buy anything, even food they eat, as this currency is merely a mockery and a constant reminder of the poverty they suffer.

Fourth / Entertainment shows:  We cannot forget the creative ideas for entertaining the people. In this unique pattern, governments provide entertainment shows for the people, but only if the person is hungry. Only those who suffer from continuous poverty get tickets to attend. Of course, these shows must be rich with delicious foods and lavish meals, but only for viewing, not for eating, making the hungry suffer feelings of anger and jealousy amidst the luxury and opulence enjoyed by the ruling class.

Fifth / Poverty as the fashion of the age: In this twisted constitution, hunger has become a modern fashion, glorified by the media, promoting the “hunger diet,” viewing malnutrition as a symbol of status and beauty. People are encouraged to show their prominent ribs and frail bodies, while fashion designers create clothing lines that only fit those suffering from severe malnutrition.

Sixth / Food Storage Olympics  Imagine an event where people compete to see who can store the most food, while the losers starve. The Olympics will involve the government opening specific types of food, and the winner is the one who can store the most food massively, leaving the rest of the population with nothing. The winning country proudly displays the warehouse filled with food and gives only a portion to the winner, while he and the rest of the population continue to suffer from poverty.

Seventh / Food advertisements for those who can’t afford it:  In a world where hunger is widespread, governments and companies launch lavish advertising campaigns about food, showcasing billboards, TV commercials, and online ads with tantalizing images of delectable dishes and delicious meals. The key is that these ads are strategically placed in poor areas where people can only dream of affording such luxuries.

Eighth / Ministry of Hunger:  In this article, governments establish a Ministry of Hunger, tasked with finding innovative ways to keep the population hungry. They invest in research and development to produce tasteless, nutrient-lacking food products, which are then marketed as affordable and easily accessible, while government officials indulge in sumptuous feasts behind closed doors.

 Conclusion:

Starving people is nothing but a depletion of human dignity and the exploitation of their most basic needs. It is an animalistic method invented by humans to enslave each other, stripping them of thought, will, and freedom. Even if poverty is a subject of mockery and ridicule, this does not negate the fact that it is a reality that must be addressed seriously and responsibly.
